CREATING MASTER CD(S)

This involves the actual conversion of your source sounds to a single digital "source file" for each side of your tape or record and can, on request, include dividing each digital source file into separate track files and may also include some pop/click/hiss/hum reduction. Please note that separating the digital source file into individual tracks (ie 1 song 1 track) enables you to select tracks individually, or to program the order they play, on your CD player.

I do not do any pre- or post-production work on original recordings.
With the minor exception of some pop/click/hum/hiss reduction I do conversions only

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Once a master CD has been created copies can be made of it anytime. Each CD made comes to you in a CD window envelope. You can, however, order new or recycled jewel cases and have CD covers and/or labels designed, printed and applied. All these "additional services" are priced separately from creating the master CD to give you the choice of having me do them for you, doing them yourself or skipping them altogether.

PRICE QUOTATIONS

Every conversion job is different and it is very difficult to know in advance what is going to be involved. The condition of old tapes and records can vary greatly as can the number of individual tracks on them. The worse the condition and the more tracks there are to separate the more time the process takes and the more it will cost.
